Professional Standards Committee

 

1.1. Terms of reference

  1. To protect and enhance STEP’s reputation for high standards of practice.
  2. To review, update, revise and expand as deemed appropriate the Society’s Code of Professional Conduct, disciplinary and Continuing Professional Development requirements.
  3. To communicate and promote the importance of the Code of Professional Conduct to members.
  4. To benchmark the Code of Professional Conduct and Continuing Professional Development requirements against those of similar professional bodies and against global best practice.
  5. To encourage and promote Continuing Professional Development, the sharing of information, and best practice on professional standards issues across the Society.
