London Central as a long-established STEP Branch, has in excess of 1000 members. Student members make up a considerable proportion of the total membership of the branch, and as such are extremely important to the life of the branch. As a result, the Branch Committee are committed to offering a programme of talks to our members, particularly students and accountants, believing that attendance at the branch lectures is very important for professional development.
We offer interesting topics and talks, and high quality speakers. Members also have the chance to network and meet others from different disciplines. We hold a minimum of 5 seminars a year at a variety of venues in central London. We also work with the London City Branch to hold joint events on a topic of mutual interest to both branches at least once a year.
Charities UK Satellite SIG
Reporting to, and operating as a sub-committee of STEP London Central, the Charities UK Satellite Special Interest Group (SIG) was established in May 2000 as a means of facilitating the discussion of legal and accountancy issues relevant to the charity sector.
With a membership of approimately 100 people from a range of disciplines, drawn largely from STEP London Central and London City Branches, the Group organises talks exploring relevant and topical issues.
