Feed the Minds believe education makes a world of difference.

Feed the Minds is an international development charity that prides itself on working with local partners in developing countries around the world delivering innovative education projects to help save lives, reduce poverty and transform communities.

We believe education is the best way to empower some of the world’s most marginalised and disadvantaged communities; both adults and young people, who are particularly in need. Education enables people to support themselves practically and financially, both in the immediate and long term. Our work is driven by and actively involves communities in the developing world.

Last year alone our Education for Change programme helped over 100,000 people in 11 countries. Each one of our projects are unique. They not only provide the essential literacy and numeracy skills but are also embedded in one of our four core areas:

Vocational Training and Education: Teaching people the skills to secure sustainable livelihoods, using readily available materials and meeting local needs.

Civic Education: Helping children and adults to understand and exercise their rights to participate in local, regional and national decision making that affects their lives.

Health Education: Building the skills and Knowledge to help people stay healthy, such as learning about nutrition, hygiene, sanitation and how to prevent HIV/AIDS.

Peace Education: Helping people in regions affected by conflict to overcome fear, prejudice and trauma, so that communities can re build themselves and live in peace.

By working with local partners, we enable marginalised people to develop skills and knowledge, that they identify, which allows them to transform their lives.
