Join STEP in Canada
STEP Canada is the Canadian chapter of the
worldwide Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
To become a STEP member within Canada you can apply through one
of the following routes:
The STEP Diploma for Canada route to full STEP membership is
intended for candidates who work or aspire to work in the trusts
and estates industry in Canada. You join STEP as a student member,
then upon earning the STEP Diploma for Canada and satisfying the
other membership criteria, will qualify for admission as a full
member of the Society.
This route is open to persons who hold a recognized professional
qualification and who have a minimum of two years current post
qualification practical experience in trusts and/or estates related

This route is open to persons who hold a recognized professional
qualification and who have a minimum of ten years current post
qualification practical experience in trusts and/or estates related
matters. This route to membership is only available to those people
invited by a Branch Executive (Branch Board) to join STEP. Click
