Join STEP in Scotland

STEP Scotland was formed in October 1992. To become a STEP member in Scotland you can apply for STEP membership through one of our available student routes or via the Advocacy Route.

STEP Diploma for Scotland	Qualified Practitioner Route	Advocacy Route
A recognised professional qualification suitable for those with minimum experience and/or no qualifications.	A route to Full STEP membership for trust and estate practitioners who have established themselves in the field.	For anyone with rights of audience in relation to proceedings in the High Court in England & Wales or equivalent.
STEP Certificate for Financial Services	STEP Advanced Certificate in Trust Disputes	STEP Advanced Certificate in Family Enterprise Advising
Enabling those in the financial services industry to work more effectively with private client professionals.	Understand how to anticipate, and thereby avoid, the common pitfalls which can lead to trust litigation.	Understand the complexities of the family enterprise context.
