Why Employ a TEP?

Client Confidence
Full members of STEP are entitled to use the designation TEP, giving your clients confidence and peace of mind that the practitioner has reached the exacting standards required.

Members of STEP include the most experienced and senior practitioners in the field of trusts and estates.

Skills & Knowledge
STEP membership is limited to candidates who have either completed a STEP qualification or proved their knowledge and experience.  All STEP members must complete 35 CPD hours per year, ensuring they are constantly updating their skills and knowledge.

Acquisition and access to STEP knowledge enables practitioners to identify and manage risk inherent in private client work more effectively.

Networking
STEP offers networking opportunities with practitioners from different backgrounds – allowing those from the legal profession to discuss issues with financial experts, determining where coordination and cooperation would be beneficial.
