STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates (Northern Ireland)

 

This qualification is a collaboration between STEP and Central Law Training (CLT).

Why should I study this qualification?

  • You will gain an academic and professional award recognised by the industry
  • On completion of the Diploma you can become a full STEP member and use the professional designation TEP, demonstrating your expertise to both clients and employers
  • The programme is relevant to the tasks that you are undertaking in the workplace. It focuses on practical training issues
  • It develops an appreciation of the issues which arise in trust and estate practice and gives practical knowledge of the law and procedures involved
  • The programme is in a flexible format. It is an integrated programme combining distance learning and face-to-face tuition

What are the entry requirements?

There are no formal entry requirements but it is recommended that applicants should already be working in the field, or be looking to move in to a position within it. A basic understanding of the core areas covered in the Diploma would be an advantage.

When you chose to study the Diploma, you become a student member of STEP. Upon completion of the qualification you can upgrade to full membership status if you have two years' relevant experience, or associate membership status if you have less than two years' experience.
