UK and Ireland

We currently have 27 branches across the UK and Ireland. The amount of members in this region makes up approximately 38 per cent of the global STEP membership.

The England and Wales Regional Committee oversees the strategic direction of STEP in England and Wales. Two sub-committees, UK Practice Committee and UK Technical Committee examine technical and practice issues affecting members, contributing consultation responses and guidance for members.

There are ten seats on STEP’s Council representing this region, with eight for England & Wales and two seats between Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland. The current Council Members for England & Wales are: Amanda Simmonds (North East), Peter McGeown (Midlands); Patricia Wass (West and Wales); Christopher Lintott (City of London); Scott Clayton (South); Nick Jacob (London Central); Stephen Lawson (North West); Paul Seal (East). For Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland the Council Members are Paraic Madigan (Ireland) and Ian Huddleston (Northern Ireland).
