Managing Editor

We are looking for a Managing Editor to join our team at STEP's global headquarters in central London, UK. Working within the Communications Team, the Managing Editor is responsible for the editorial production of our flagship publication the STEP Journal (ten issues a year), and its supplement the Trust Quarterly Review (four issues a year). We are looking for a good project manager with experience of managing a publication. It's a busy role, so we need someone calm, organised, with good attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines. You need to be comfortable with technical content, a fast learner and, ideally, hit the ground running. The role involves liaising with staff, two editorial boards, external suppliers and authors, so you need to be confident with proven interpersonal skills. A full job description is below.
