Each module in the programme gives you 30 DL credits towards STEP membership. You need 60 DL credits to become an Associate and 120 DL credits to become a Full STEP Member (TEP).
The Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning from Deakin University meets the requirements of The Financial Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA) and can be used to apply for full STEP membership and use of TEP.
The Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning has eight modules in total - five core modules and three electives. The elective The Administration of Trusts and Estates needs to be completed for the STEP recognition towards STEP Full Membership and TEP.
The College of Law
The LLM (Applied Law) – Wills & Estates or Estate Planning at The College of Law can be used towards STEP membership.
