The STEP Employer Partnership Team is pleased to be running an event in partnership with STEP Jersey. The event will focus on mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and will be held at the Pomme D’Or Hotel on the morning of Thursday 25 October. Mental health in the workplace: breaking the silence
Mental health problems are common. 25% of us will be affected by a mental health issues in any one year and of those 9 in 10 will experience stigma and discrimination as a result.
Research shows that mental health problems in the workplace cost UK employers £35 billion per year. In turning a blind eye to mental health, organisations risk the health of their people, their business bottom line and the effectiveness of the wider economy.
By supporting and developing workplace mental well being we can build happier, better engaged and more productive workplaces.
