Reflecting on the financial management aspects of these applications, and the very public journey of Britney Spears in the USA, this presentation will seek to illustrate how the respective jurisdictions have the potential to impact an individual’s ability to prescribe their own affairs. These tribunals will get involved if the financial arrangements in respect of the concerned person have not been made or are not working.
