Becoming a Regenerative Adviser: An introduction to advising wealth holders seeking to support the Just Transition to a Regenerative Economy.

On Tuesday, 12 September STEP Manchester is delighted to welcome Stephanie Brobbey, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Good Ancestor Movement to present the next in the series of Briefings.  The session will be held in person and those intending to attend are required to register ahead of time to ensure a seat.  The meeting will not be recorded

Individual and family wealth holders can either play a substantial role in or stand in the way of building an economy that is balanced, regenerative and distributive by design. Their wealth practices will help prevent or help create a society that is both just and more healthy.

Stephanie will explain how the Good Ancestor Movement supports socially driven and historically conscious wealth holders in repurposing their wealth for the benefit of society and the planet.

Stephanie Brobbey qualified as a private wealth lawyer in 2011 and practiced in a City of London law firm for over a decade.  Stephanie gained an outstanding reputation in the private wealth industry and, in both 2018 and 2020, she was named one of eprivateclient’s Top 35 Under 35.  Shortly after leaving private practice, Chambers & Partners High Net Worth Guide 2021 ranked her as “an Associate to watch”.

In September 2021 Stephanie launched the Good Ancestor Movement, a social purpose business which exists to disrupt the mainstream wealth advisory industry by challenging traditional ideas about the economy, excessive wealth accumulation and tax minimisation. The Good Ancestor Movement supports wealthy individuals and families, and trusts and foundations with progressive wealth stewardship and radical redistribution.

Stephanie is a dedicated social sector leader and has served as a trustee of youth charities FAST London and e:merge; and The Funding Network, a charity which hosts live crowdfunding events for not-for-profit organisations pursuing social change.
