Care fees, trusts registration service changes and taxation of trusts. 12 July 2023
29 Rainsford Rd
Care fees and planning are becoming a “hot topic” amongst clients, some making gifts in their lifetime and some setting up trusts and asset planning within their Wills to protect inheritances for loved ones. However, it is important to be able to advise on the current rules and the new system due to come into force in October 2024 so that clients can make informed decisions. If setting up trusts, we also need to be aware of the Trust Registration Scheme requirements, and taxation rules surrounding trusts.
The presentation will focus on these areas, as well as discussing examples of how the rules work in practice.
