Event Focus

The STEP Charities UK Special Interest Group are delighted to have secured as their next speaker Elinor Crockford, Policy Adviser with HMRC’s Exchange of Information Team and a real expert on the subject. Elinor will be talking about the implications of the Common Reporting Standard for charities, the due diligence and reporting regime, how HMRC will be monitoring compliance, and potential penalties.

The obligation to collect information under CRS is effective from 1 January 2016.
