STEP NSW Branch invites you to a special event with Equity Trustees.

The evening will be hosted at The Establishment in Sydney and will feature a lecture with Nick McColl, Estate Planning Solicitor, concluding with networking and refreshments.

Topic: The Consequences of Adult Children “Economising” on Housing for Estate Administration

Nick will be presenting on an increasingly common situation where adult children continue to occupy the family home after the death of a surviving parent and its consequences for executors, in particular where an adult child refuses to vacate the family home and delays the sale process, as well as potential solutions that are available in Victoria and New South Wales.

With more beneficiaries occupying residential properties in recent estates, Nick will cover this topic and provide some case studies Equity Trustees have dealt with some very intriguing situations of late.
