Join us on 4 November 2021 at 15:00-16:00 GMT for a discussion on creating corporate athletes. The webinar will run for 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes for Q&A.
Increasing capacity at all levels allows athletes to bring their talents and skills to full ignition and to sustain high performance over time. Join us for a webinar hosted by STEP Employer Insights in association with BLG to learn how to translate the same approach to business, build capacity for endurance, strength, flexibility, self-control, and focus as a professional.
During this webinar, we will discuss the following topics:
- the four principles of full engagement;
- self-confidence: how to find it;
- motivation: the equation;
- focus like an Olympian;
- energy management: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
Sandrine Mainville,bronze medallist four times 100m freestyle relay, Rio 2016 and Associate at BLG (Canada).
Before joining BLG, Sandrine completed her law studies while training full-time in championship level swimming. She participated in the 2016 Olympics, where she won the bronze medal for free-style four times 100m relay with her teammates.
Sandrine’s practice focuses on dispute settlement, with specialisation in labour and employment law.
Sindy Peixoto, National Director – Talent Development, BLG (Canada)
Sindy is the National Director, Talent Development at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. She provides leadership over the firm's Professional Excellence Programme which is BLG’s comprehensive national approach to the on-going business and legal education of BLG professionals.
Since joining the firm, Sindy has provided leadership over the firm's recruitment processes and programmes for legal professionals.
Prior to joining BLG, Sindy was the Director, Students, Associates and Professional Development for the Montréal office of another large national law firm. Sindy also practised in labour and employment law.
- Jenni Hutchinson, Head of Employer Partnerships, STEP.
Jenni has worked with STEP for more than seven years to pilot and launch the Employer Partnership Programme (EPP) which currently has more than 80 Partners across 36 jurisdictions worldwide.
Prior to this, Jenni worked to create and manage employer relationship programmes with a number of professional bodies, including CIMA, CIPFA and CIM.
The purpose of the EPP is to build strong and lasting relationships with companies within a wide range of professions where STEP members are, or should be, employed. Jenni is passionate about working with Partners to help them to provide the best possible support and development opportunities for their STEP community.
