This semianar will be presented by Gunhild Dam, Antonio Guillen and Sophie Hearle.

Gunhild is a Senior Tax Specialist at Sagars. Gunhild provides specialist tax advice to wealthy individuals and their families, trusts, trustees and beneficiaries, business owners and entrepreneurs. She also supports non-UK resident and non-UK domiciled individuals.

Antonio is a dual qualified Spanish lawyer and English solicitor, specialist in Spanish Civil Law, in particular property and probate matters in connection wkith assets in Spain. He gives regular lectures on Spanish law to UK solicitors, STEP practitioners and Notary Publics and is known as a point of reference for cross border probate matters between the UK and Spain. His clients range from private clients investing in property in Spain, to Spanish companies requiring legal advice in connection with their investments and transactions in the UK. Antonio is the former Honorary Consul for Spain in Manchester, a role that he held from 2013 to 2017 assisting the Spanish Consulate General and Spanish Embassy in connection to affairs and needs of Spanish Citizens who lived in Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire.

Sophie Hearle is a Solicitor at Ashtons Legal. Sophie studied Law and French at the University of Leeds and Université Jean Moulin, Lyon III. She completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School (Holborn) achieving a Distinction.

Sophie joined the firm as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2014 and qualified into the French Legal Services team in September 2016. She advises on French and English estate planning, taxation, Wills and probate.

Sophie is a board member of Jurismus: a leading network of young European lawyers employed in one of the 650 Eurojuris law firms.
