Delaware trusts for non-US persons with US assets: reporting considerations. 20 September 2023

Delaware continues to be a premier trust jurisdiction for non-US persons despite the rising trend of newer trust jurisdictions like South Dakota and Wyoming.  This presentation will cover Delaware trusts and how non-US persons can benefit from dynasty trusts, directed trusts, trust modifications and other “Delaware Advantages.” This discussion will also review the U.S. reporting requirements for Delaware foreign trusts with US assets, including CRS, FATCA and IRS Forms 5472, 3520, 3520-A, etc.

There will be a 10-minute networking breakout session during the meeting. Additionally, we would invite participants to consider being present via video throughout the meeting.
