We are offering this session for free to STEP Miami members and non-members.

Daniel Mendez of Mendez & Mendez, P.A. will discuss the importance of having an estate plan in place in the event of death or incapacity.

We often are our own worst clients and forget to put ourselves and our families first. This discussion will cover the essential estate planning documents and the importance of having a plan in place.

We will talk about the following:

  • Last Will and Testament
  • Designation of Healthcare Surrogate and Guardian
  • Durable Power of Attorney
  • Living Will

Although we routinely advise our clients to have these items in place, we often neglect our own needs. After this discussion, I hope that the expression will change to "Do as I say, which is exactly what I do!"
