Effective advisory for business families across generations. 24 March 2022

STEP Victoria invites you to register for a progressive series of 10 monthly Zoom sessions, held on the fourth Thursday of each month, February to November 2022, from 12:00 noon to 13:00, to help you provide more effective advice to private clients and business families.

The sessions are facilitated by Jon Kenfield, master solutionist, chartered accountant advanced mediator, grade 1 arbitrator, and a reputation as one of Australia’s most effective family business advisers.

What to expect:

Your thinking will be challenged by this series of Zoom sessions.

They will not address any legal, financial or accounting topics from a technical perspective; they will address macro advisory issues relevant to, and fiercely practical for, most existing and future clients.

Papers will be provided in advance, along with PowerPoint slides.

Discussion is encouraged as we explore innovative/unfamiliar advisory concepts and territory.

This series will help to improve and expand the practices of experienced advisers working with private clients, family businesses, and business families. It will appeal to those with open minds who want to advance their technical skills to next level advisory, especially progressive:

The program has been designed to build upon the topic from the previous month. We encourage delegates to register for the series and enjoy a discount in doing so.

If specific topics are of interest, there is an option to register for a single session.

Series Registration:

• STEP members: AUD500.00
• Non-members: AUD750.00
• If you register with a series ticket, purchase the series ticket under the February event and you will be automatically registered for all 10 sessions.

Individual Session Registration:

• STEP members: AUD75.00
• Non-members: AUD100.00

How it will work

This is an online series delivered via zoom. Delegates will be provided with instructions with how to join each session 1 hour before the commencement time. Each session is 60 minutes.

All sessions will be recorded and shared with delegates to view for a limited time.
