Description

Speaker:

  • Clem Sunter

We are delighted to present Clem Sunter to take us through the flags transforming the global economy and South Africa and the scenarios that flow from them – in particular the anti-establishment flag (mentioned in his book, “Flagwatching”, published in 2015) which he anticipated would change the game of wealth management – and it has!

He will also talk about a programme called  ''Growing Foxes'',  based on the book “ Mind of a Fox” which he co-authored with Chantell Ilbury in 2001. The programme is currently being rolled out at a private girls’ school in London and is designed to create the type of entrepreneurial thinking appropriate for young people in the 21st century.

Clem has enjoyed a lifelong career with the Anglo American Group, which began in London in 1966. He served as Chairman and CEO of Anglo’s Gold Division in the early 1990’s when it was the largest gold producer in the world and is now a non-executive director of Anglo South Africa.

South Africa’s most highly regarded scenario planner and strategist, he has been adeptly styled as the Foxy Futurist, who has found a calling in developing unique and creative solutions to cater to situations for which no boxes have been designed.
