Stephen will discuss how to keep the ‘perfect will file’ with Larke v Nugus requests in mind. Stephen will reveal the best and worst legal practice when will preparers produce a copy of their file. Receiving and responding to Larke v Nugus enquiries, the Law Society disputed wills practice note and what is revealed when files are disclosed.

Stephen Lawson, TEP is a specialist Contentious Probate Solicitor at FDR Law. He is the joint author (with Frost and Jacoby) of the book Testamentary Capacity published by Oxford University Press. Stephen is a current member of the Law Society Wills and Equity Committee and a former member of the Law Society Civil Justice Committee, the STEP England and Wales Committee and the STEP Worldwide Council. Stephen is a long-standing member of ACTAPS. Stephen has presented lectures and webinars for many years in relation to numerous aspects of private client law and practice.
