The Treasury Department released its “Green Book” on May 28th. The Green Book provides the clearest view yet of the Biden Administration’s legislative priorities, including the revenue raising proposals accompanying an ambitious spending plan. Many of those revenue raising proposals are in the form of tax increases, specifically aimed at high-net-worth individuals – both in the form of income tax increases and significant revisions to the estate and gift tax regime. The panel will discuss in detail the Administration’s proposals, specifically as they relate to high-net-worth private clients and provide possible planning tools that might be implemented in anticipation of some or all of the proposals making their way into law.

Speakers

Mary Duffy, Managing Director, Andersen
Laura Zwicker, Partner, Greenberg Glusker
