STEP NSW Branch invites you to a special event with Equity Trustees.
The evening will be hosted at The Establishment in Sydney and will include a lecture with Mercia Chapman TEP and Denise Cheng and conclude with networking and refreshments.
About the event
With greater wealth being accumulated in one’s lifetime, a legal advisor supporting a client during the estate planning process is well placed to provide support to activate a family’s charitable legacy, whether this is during the client’s lifetime, or beyond.
During this session, Mercia Chapman TEP, Senior Legal Counsel and Denise Cheng, Relationship Manager at Equity Trustees will share case studies identifying the various charitable giving structures available to Australian philanthropists, how these can interact with an estate plan and also outline the key questions that legal advisors can ask to understand if a client, or their family is ready to activate their giving legacy.
