Presenter: Hitomi Sakai advises clients on international inheritance and estate planning, and labor and employment. She provides Japanese estate planning solutions for high net worth clients from all regions of the worlds, to include family businesses, company founders and investors. She has an LL.M. from Vanderbilt Law School and also is a member of the New York Bar and the Daini Tokyo Bar Association in Japan.
Moderator: Alan Winston Granwell counsels corporate and private clients on cross-border matters. He advises high-net-worth individuals on cross-border income, estate and gift tax planning, controversy and compliance, and is a former U.S. Treasury Department International Tax Counsel and Director, Office of International Tax Affairs.
