This two-part webinar will be held on Thursday, 15 October 2020 and Thursday, 22 October 2020 at 6.00 pm (Hong Kong time).

Chris McKenzie, partner at O'Neal Webster in London, will be talking to our members about succession planning for BVI companies.

Thursday, 15 October 2020:  Part One will cover succession planning options for shareholders of BVI companies. The presentation will briefly cover the adverse consequences of not taking any succession planning measures.  The focus will be primarily on the succession planning options which are effective, and those which are fairly commonplace but which are ineffective (and which could give rise to significant problems for service providers and clients).

Thursday, 22 October 2020:  Part Two will cover the preparation of BVI wills. It will essentially cover the reasons why wills should be prepared, some serious conflict of laws pitfalls which frequently arise when preparing wills for non-BVI domiciliaries, what to include in BVI wills, and a few drafting tips.
