Speaker Bios
Massimo Vanotti's experience includes a broad range of practice areas with focus on corporate and commercial law. He is specialized in national and international corporate and M&A transactions particularly to the banking industry. He is also active in the fields of venture capital and startups and assists clients in their ongoing commercial activities.
Matthias Bizzarro is a certified tax expert and a lecturer in tax law at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI). Matthias Bizzarro's practice focuses on all aspects of domestic and international corporate tax law and tax planning for Swiss and foreign private clients. He also advises in matters of general contract law, corporate and commercial law, regularly providing advice on corporate transactions (including start-up financing rounds). Matthias Bizzarro is also experienced in advising private clients in civil legal matters, with a focus on estate and wealth planning, as well as relocations to Switzerland.
Lisa Cornwell, Partner, Tax and Legal | Private Clients, PwC
Her professional Qualification: Chartered Tax Adviser, Member of STEP, Diploma in Investment Management (Chartered Insurance Institue). Lisa works with international families, family offices and the intermediaries looking after this client base advising with tax lens across the whole private client spectrum. Having worked in industry prior to joining PwC, Lisa brings a solution led approach to client relationships.
Sophie Limbioul, Senior Manager Tax and Legal | Private Clients, PwC
Her professional Qualification: Graduate of University of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium (Master degree in Law), LL.M degree from Boston University and Master in International Taxation from Université de Lausanne.
Senior Manager with PwC Switzerland. Sophie has joined the International Tax Structuring department of PwC Luxembourg in 2007, advising mainly multinationals. In 2010, she joined the private clients and entrepreneurs service team. She has been with the Swiss firm since 2012, working for the team dedicated to private clients.
Lukas Kummer, Senior Manager Tax and Legal | Private Clients, PwC
Her professional Qualification: Graduate of University of St. Gallen (M.A. Law HSG) and Swiss Certified Tax Expert. Senior Manager with PwC Switzerland. Lukas has been with the firm since 2016 where he grew starting as an assistant consultant. Next to his role within PwC, Lukas is furthermore gaining valuable experience as the president of the Board of Directors of the Family Real Estate company focusing on financing, letting and development of real estate projects.
