A Key Value Proposition - The Importance of Integrating Philanthropy Into Your Practice

Event Focus

The Philanthropy Advisors SIG's session will outline why philanthropy advice is good business and a smart value proposition to be offering to clients, and provide practical guidance on just how to build it into your client advice model.

Topics include:

  • Why philanthropy matters - the evidence of demand
  • The opportunity for advisors
  • How to incorporate philanthropy into your practice and the advantages of doing so
  • Meeting the client and asking the philanthropic question
  • Key trigger moments for philanthropy advice

Why attend?

A range of speakers from different perspectives, both geographically and in their roles, will take the audience through reflections in the context of commercialising philanthropy advice, and offer a really practical session on just how to bring up the "philanthropy question" with your client through a range of scenarios.

Speakers:

  • England & Wales practitioner perspective: Jacqueline Lazare TEP, Solicitor-Estate Planning, Royds Withy King
  • Swiss practitioner perspective: Julie Wynee TEP, Attorney-at-law and Partner, Froriep
  • USA practitioner perspective: Suzanne Reisman TEP, Principal, Law Offices of Suzanne M Reisman
