Digital Estates: Getting Comfortable with Estate Planning for Digital Assets

Event Focus

Clients, as they get more and more comfortable with technology, will continue to have expectations about the estate planning industry’s ability to bring that innovation to the table. This event will introduce the newest players to the estate planning team – the professionals who work in the technology field.

This conference will offer a unique multidisciplinary perspective of technology management, law enforcement, cybersecurity, and estate planning and administration law. Speakers will discuss the changing assets within our client’s portfolio and the technology innovations that have created and transformed those assets. STEP practitioners will have a unique opportunity to see the full spectrum of technological applications from the risks of cybersecurity to the innovative benefits that are now seen in philanthropy and emergent new asset classes (e.g. blockchain cryptocurrencies).

If you are an advisor looking to increase your knowledge and comfort with the digital world, this event is for you.
