Mark Brownridge - Director General of the EIS Association
Mark has over twenty years’ experience in Financial Services and, prior to becoming Director General of the EIS Association, he was Head of Research and Development at Mazars. Mark is a Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Planner, Chartered Wealth Manager and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and also sits on the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments Accredited firms committee and TISA’s Distribution Policy Council. Mark’s involvement with EIS began 8 years ago and he has since championed EIS and BR investing within a financial planning context and is extremely passionate about promoting the industry, increasing its effectiveness and ensuring the private sector continues to drive much needed funding.
Chris Springett – Partner, Smith & Williamson
Chris’ client base mostly comprises executives, senior employees and partners, with a specific focus on the legal and financial services sector. Along with dealing with annual tax compliance for these individuals, Chris provides proactive advice on income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax issues and gives advice to entrepreneurs on the exit from their businesses. He is also the co-author of Capital Gains Tax and the Private Residence and was listed in Tax Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2015.
