STEP Ireland are delighted to have Paddy Bruton and Tadhg Dooley of Forestry Services Limited provide an update on all things forestry concerning the private client. This seminar will be held on Tuesday 10 March in the Merrion Hotel. During the course of their presentation, Paddy and Tadhg will address the following topics:

  • Tax efficient investments in forestry;
  • Tax reliefs available to the private client; and
  • Inheritance planning.

We shall also hear from a peer support volunteer for LawCare, Ursula Cullen, on “Fit for Law” which is a free online resource on emotional competency and professional resilience for the legal community as part of an on-going project to promote psychologically and emotionally healthier ways of working within law and was developed based on evidence from focus groups with legal professionals across the UK and Ireland. The resources are available to everyone studying law or working in the legal profession in the UK and Ireland.

Ursula is a lawyer and also a certified Life and Executive coach with a focus on the mindset. Ursula has practised as a barrister and solicitor so has seen first hand how practising law can be stressful. She is passionate about promoting lawyer wellness and is a peer support volunteer for LawCare.

An informal lunch will be served from 12.30-1pm, with the seminar commencing at 1pm followed by Q&A. This event is free to all our members. Non-members are welcome to attend and should send a cheque made payable to STEP Ireland for €50 to Siobhán O'Moore, Mazars, Harcourt Centre, Block 3, Harcourt Road, Dublin 2.
