Lesley King, has kindly done the hard work and will give what we hope will be an entertaining and enlightening presentation on best practice when taking instructions: what we need to ask, and why, what we need to document, and hopefully how to address concerns you may have. No doubt she will have some tips on Zoom instructions too!

Lesley will also compare and contrast the two recent cases of Coles v Reynolds and Wales v Dixon, to see what lessons can be learned, and cover the proper execution of Wills, no doubt looking at the new guidelines for remote witnessing.

The Presenter

To most of you, Lesley King needs no introduction. She is acknowledged as the go-to person for professional development on the subject of will drafting.

A former member of the Probate & Estates Committee of STEP, a former member of the Law Society’s Wills & Equity Committee and an honorary member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists.
