- Understand the ‘two-stage test’ as an assessment framework and how to apply it
Part 2 Threshold of understanding and fluctuating capacity
By the end of this webinar you will:
- Know how to define the threshold of understanding
- Know how to apply the CMSL (Concepts/Mechanics/Short Term/Long Term) model and set the threshold of understanding
- Understand why setting it at the right level is so important
- Have some knowledge of case law relating to the threshold of understanding
- Have learnt how to manage fluctuating capacity
Tim Farmer is the Clinical Director and co-founder of Comentis
