This webinar discussion will give you the fundamentals about fund formation and general operations, a refresher on related regulatory matters and a review of upcoming fund related legislation.

Renee Haggerty, joined TMF USA in 2020 as Global Entity Management NA Practice Lead with oversight of the Entity Management Teams in Canada, the United States and Mexico. Renee previously ran Intertrust’s US Corporate Services wherein she developed their registered agent business and operations. Prior to this, Renee was a Senior Product Analyst at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Goldman Sachs Hedge Fund Strategies LLC, where she was responsible for corporate governance and regulatory deliverables for US, Cayman, Ireland and UK funds.

Nabin Banskota joined TMF USA in 2020 as a Commercial Director to grow TMF’s fund service business in North America. Nabin was previously a Director of Sales and Business Development at Apex Group covering private equity, real estate and hedge fund managers. Prior to that, Nabin was SVP at Citi Private Bank where he oversaw a large finance, tax, compliance and operations team for a $30 Billion SEC registered alternative investments platform for more than seven years. Nabin also held a variety of roles in alternative investment space with JP Morgan, State Street and KPMG.

Mike Moroni is the Americas Head of Business Development and Global Head of Transition Services at TMF Group. Mike has been with TMF since 2014 living in a variety of locations including Miami, Hong Kong and Switzerland. Prior to this Mike had over 15 years experience working in London and New York within service companies, including Control Risks Group, Barclays, Morgan Stanley and Cantor Fitzgerald. Mike has an MBA from ESADE Business School in Barcelona. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and has visited over 100 countries.
