Alison MacKrill was admitted as an English solicitor in 1986. After practising as a private client lawyer in the UK Alison moved to Bermuda in 1999 to join Appleby where she was appointed as counsel to the firm. Alison was called to the Bermuda bar in 2000. Alison moved to Guernsey in April 2003 and after three years with Ogier joined Turcan Connell as Managing Director of the Guernsey office and was appointed as Guernsey partner. In April 2010 Alison joined Carey Olsen in their trusts and private wealth team. Alison regularly writes for legal publications and is the Guernsey contributor for the STEP publication A Practical Guide to the Transfer of Trusteeships and the STEP directory. Alison makes presentations both in Guernsey and internationally. She is a past chairman of the Guernsey branch of STEP.
