Biography:

David is a partner at Schellenberg Wittmer, advising private clients, trustees, banks, and family offices on Swiss and international wealth planning, matrimonial law and succession, trusts, private trust companies and other succession vehicles. His additional areas of expertise include anti-money laundering and art law.
 
He is admitted to the Geneva Bar and the New York Bar. He is a co-editor of Trust Quarterly Review and the founder of the leading website on trusts in Switzerland – www.trusts.ch. He is the Swiss contributor to Glasson’s International Trust Laws.
 
David currently serves as chairman of STEP Geneva (officer since 2004). David is frequently quoted in the specialized press and lectures extensively. He regularly speaks on such topics as trust disputes, international estates, relocating to Switzerland, Swiss taxation of trusts and AML regulations.
 
He is fluent in English, French and German.
