Biography:

Andrea has a remarkable experience in assisting private clients and families in wealth planning, asset protection and estate planning. His expertise includes international tax issues and tax planning for high net worth individuals and trusts. He is also retained by private banks and family offices for estate planning and voluntary disclosure procedures.

He graduated with full marks in Business and Economics at University Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. He is enrolled in the Register of Chartered Accountants of Milan and in the Register of Auditors. He is AIAF analyst and technical advisor to the Judge at the Court of Milan (business valuations and extraordinary transactions area).

He is also the Founder and Chairman of a fiduciary company authorized by Bank of Italy. 

He began his job experience as internal audit analyst in a construction company listed on the Madrid Stock Exchange. Back to Italy in 1996, he began the apprenticeship to become a Chartered Accountant in a firm specialized in tax and corporate advisory. In the year 2000 he joined Severgnini & Associati, where he became partner in 2004. In 2006 he founded Generale Fiduciaria S.p.A.. At the end of 2007 he left Severgnini and, in the following year, founded his own practice, Tavecchio & Associati.

He has taken part in several company restructuring and reorganization processes, also as independent expert. He has a nearly twenty year experience as auditor or non executive director, in the companies’, groups’ and financial institutions’ governance.

He was appointed to various expert committees reporting to the Ministry for Economic Development and the Prime Minister’s Office on Economic and Fiscal Matters.

He won the legalcommunity Wealth Management Award 2016 as leading expert of the year and he was also among the finalists for the legalcommunity Wealth Management Award 2017.

He is a contributor for “Il Corriere della Sera” and “Il Foglio” on fiscal and financial matters.
