As a Senior Associate in the Wills & Estates team at Mullins I help guide people through the increasingly complex world of estate planning, estate administration and estate litigation at what can sometimes be a very difficult time in their lives.

I provide clients with practical advice based on knowledge gained from seven years practising as a Wills & Estates lawyer. Prior to working at Mullins, I worked in a general practice firm, which provided significant insight into the broader legal issues clients face. Not everyone is comfortable talking about the inevitable and it is important to provide compassionate solutions suitable to each client’s unique situation. With my clients, I take a collaborative approach (including with their other advisors such as accountants and financial planners) to ensure the best outcome is achieved.

I advise my clients in relation to a broad range of estate matters, including estate planning (including wills and testamentary trusts), estate administration (including advising executors, administrators and beneficiaries), contentious and non-contentious estate litigation (including family provision applications, solemn form proceedings, interpretation or rectification of wills), guardianship and administration matters (including enduring powers of attorney, proceedings in the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal and advice to attorneys, guardians and administrators in relation to the exercise of their powers).

I am an active member of the legal community and currently serve on three committees – the Queensland Law Society (QLS) Succession Law Committee, the QLS Elder Law Committee and the STEP Qld Committee. My role on these committees allows me to keep abreast of all changes to the law and to advocate for change or improvement to the existing law.

More personally, I am passionate about enabling people to work flexibly by utilising technology. And I spend much of my spare time deep diving GOT fan theories.
