Anthony Pitcher TEP and Amanda Simmonds TEP re-elected as Deputy Chairs of STEP
Anthony (Tony) Pitcher TEP, of STEP Jersey, and Amanda Simmonds TEP, of STEP Yorkshire, have been re-elected as Deputy Chairs of STEP’s worldwide Board for a further term of 12 months from 1 January, having already served as Deputies in 2021.
Tony is Chairman of the Jersey Board at LGL Group, and former Chair of STEP Jersey. He qualified as a chartered accountant with a big four firm, before becoming a full equity partner. He is a former steering committee member of STEP’s International Client Special Interest Group and a member of STEP’s worldwide Council.
Amanda Simmonds is Senior Associate Solicitor at Lupton Fawcett in Leeds, UK. She is Deputy Chair of STEP’s Professional Standards Committee and has been a member of the STEP Yorkshire branch committee for 15 years, having served as Chairman of the branch for four years until June 2014. From September 2013 to the end of 2017, Amanda was co-opted on to STEP’s Business Families Special Interest Group Steering Committee and still organises seminar events on behalf of the SIG in the North of England.
