STEP announces Private Client Awards Finalists for 2022/23

Friday, 24 June 2022

STEP has today announced the shortlist for the 2022/23 Private Client Awards, with 73 firms and 11 individuals from across the private client industry selected by an expert panel of judges.

This year saw a record number of entries for the Awards, with 337 submissions received from 27 countries. Finalists include individuals and firms from Austria, Bermuda, Canada, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Singapore, Switzerland, the UK and the US.

Founded in 2006, the Awards celebrate excellence in private client practice and are widely seen as a hallmark of quality in the industry. A range of categories were open to law firms, accountancy firms, trust companies, financial advisors, multi-family offices and boutique advisory services internationally.

Several firms made the shortlist in multiple categories, with Forsters and Boodle Hatfield topping the list with five and four nominations apiece!

STEP’s Chief Executive Mark Walley said:

‘I look forward to the STEP Private Client Awards every year – and this year even more so because we return “in person” to the Awards ceremony in London. The entries for the awards come from right across the globe so we are truly celebrating the very best of innovation, commitment and hard work for the industry. Huge congratulations to all our finalists. See you there in September.’

Chair of the Presiding Judges Mary Duke TEP said:

‘It has been fantastic to see so many entries this year from such a wide range of organisations and individuals from across the globe. This does of course make our job as judges even harder and it is extremely challenging to decide among such excellent submissions. With such a high standard, the firms and individuals that have made the shortlist should be incredibly proud!’

The winners will be announced at an Awards Ceremony taking place on 14 September 2022 at the Hilton Hotel on Park Lane in London, UK.

Sponsors of the Awards include AP Executive, Cazenove Capital | Schroders Wealth Management, Evelyn Partners, Katten, Leo Trust Switzerland, London & Capital Wealth and Asset Management and Penningtons Manches Cooper.

STEP is proud to be partnering with international literacy charity the World Literacy Foundation (WLF) for the Private Client Awards for the third year. Entrants do not pay a fee to enter the Awards, but instead are encouraged to donate to WLF. So far this year we have raised GDP 54,069, which we hope to add to in the coming months and at the Awards Ceremony in September.
