STEP's new CPD Policy requires all members to carry out at least one CPD activity that relates to professional standards or ethics per year.
In addition, from 1st April 2015, every member who applies to upgrade to full membership will need to have reviewed a STEP Professional Standards Awareness case study and read the Code of Conduct.
The first Professional Standards Awareness case studies are now available for members to explore. The case studies don't require any technical knowledge and are not developed to be jurisdiction specific. The objective is to develop awareness of the STEP Code of Professional Conduct and to apply that Code to an example ethical dilemma.
If you are upgrading to full membership, STEP will receive notice of completion automatically.
