Exam Route

The most common route to STEP membership is through STEP exams or accreditation of prior learning and/or experience.

Applicants enrolled on this route work to accumulate 240 credits through completing qualifications and demonstrating relevant experience. Once the applicant has completed the route they can apply to upgrade to TEP, Full membership of STEP.

Which level of course suits you?

Certificate

Certificates offer an introduction to the subject area. Gain 30 Entry Level credits.

Advanced Certificate

Advanced Certificates are aimed at experienced practitioners looking to enhance their knowledge of a specific subject area or obtain a specialist diploma. Gain 30 - 60 Diploma Level credits.

Diploma

Diplomas are aimed at experienced practitioners wanting to develop and cement their knowledge of wider industry topics and gain a professional qualification recognised around the world. Demonstrate 120 credits through eligible qualifications under the exam route.

Postgraduate Diploma

The STEP Professional Postgraduate Diploma is an advanced programme for senior industry practitioners and TEPs. It has been designed to build on your extensive experience by providing you with enhanced skills, knowledge and expertise.
