USA Board of Directors

STEP USA consists of nine branches (Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami,  Mid-Atlantic, New York, Orange County, San Francisco, Seattle, and Texas) and nine chapters (Boston, Gold Coast Florida, Long Island, San Diego, Silicon Valley, Southwest Florida, St. Louis, and Wyoming). Each branch/chapter has a Board of Directors that includes a Chairperson, Membership Chair, Programming Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and Sponsorship Chair. The Chairperson from each Board serves as a member of the STEP USA’s Board of Directors, is responsible for monitoring all the branches/chapters in the region, budgeting, monitoring branch activities (educational programmes, membership growth, and public policy statements in addition to general administrative duties).

The Board for each branch/chapter is elected by their region by branch/chapter members. Each branch/chapter holds an annual election meeting each year. Term limits for officers are generally limited to three years.

The Chair of STEP USA is elected or nominated by the current STEP USA Board.
